There are thousands of schools across the country. College recruiting budgets & staffs have decreased. Unless you are a blue chip athlete and make a top 100 list, most college coaches will never hear about you.

 

MYTH #2

I've got plenty of time, I'll wait and see what happens.

FACT

While you wait for something to happen, those athletes who want to succeed are making it happen. They use all the resources available to give themselves the competitive edge. If you're a junior (even if you're on JV) and you haven't heard from any schools, you are not being recruited!

There are not many scholarships available, why waste my time?

FACT

There are over 100,000 athletic scholarships for men and women. Many of these scholarships are split between two students. You could be eligible for one of these scholarships.
