The NCAA requires freshman, who wish to participate in a Division I or Division II program, to be certified by the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse.
Freshman Eligibility Standards:
1. All students must register with the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse
2. Graduate from high school
3. Achieve a GPA in 13 core courses between a 2.00 - 2.50, with the corresponding level in the ACT or SAT tests
(see the table representing this)

High School Core Courses
4 years English
2 years Math (1 year algebra, 1 year geometry)
2 years Social Science, 2 years Physical or Natural Science (Including 1 lab course)
1 year of additional courses in English, Math or Science
2 additional academic courses in any of the above mentioned areas or any
of the following courses: Foreign Language, Computer Science, Religion,
or Philosophy.
These are the minimum courses required.

 

The NAIA requires all freshman meet certain academic criteria in order to be eligible to participate
Freshman must meet at least two of the criteria listed below:

1. Score a total of at least 860 on the SAT test
2. Achieve a minimum score of 18 on the ACT
3. Obtain an overall GPA of at least a 2.00
4. Have a class rank in the top half of your graduating class
Graduation from high school is a must for all students
